Centric Energy Corp. (CTE) is focused on acquiring hydrocarbon assets in areas where the application of new technology and concepts can find new hydrocarbon resources, and optimizing these through strategic partnerships and joint-ventures. Our interest in the longer-term exploration play in an under-explored Mesozoic graben in Mali, provides an exciting portfolio of near and longer-term potential for significant hydrocarbon discoveries and production.

CTE management has over 100 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production. CEO Alec Robinson alone has 35 years of experience, primarily with Amoco Corporation, a $36 billion oil and gas major that merged with BP.

Centric Energy's assets include strong acreage holdings in the Mesozoic-age Gao graben in Mali, West Africa, which provides exciting long-term potential for an elephant-style deposit.

In 2006, the company acquired 100 percent of the issued capital in Mali Oil Development SARL, owner of all rights to one hydrocarbon exploration license (Block 11) and one right to a license in the approval process (Block 7) covering a total area of 72,000 sq. km located in south-eastern Mali, west Africa.

Property Highlights:

• The Mesozoic Gao graben has similar geology to other petroleum producing rift basins in central Africa, such as the Chad rift basin.
• The Gao graben is lightly explored. 1974-vintage seismic shows at least 15,000 feet of Mesozoic section.
• An airborne magnetic survey was acquired in December 2006, and interpretation shows potentially-prospective areas in both licenses. 
• Seismic acquisition is targeted for 2008 with the first well to be drilled in 2009.
• Farmout discussions are underway with interested companies.
