Coastal Energy Plots ‘Substantial’ Production Growth Despite Distractions in Thailand

Thailand’s unwanted appearances on the TV news in recent weeks amid anti-government protests will have no doubt lost the country a few tourists this summer. At a time when dollars are probably in short supply this is not a good thing for the economy.

But it will not cost any lost barrels in output for enterprising operators like Coastal Energy. The Toronto and London-listed group, which is solely focused on Thailand’s upstream potential, both onshore and offshore, plans to steadily crank-up output this year.
