Egdon Resources Spuds The Dukes Wood-1 Well In Nottinghamshire Onshore The UK

The freezing, not to say impossible weather notwithstanding, Aim listed Egdon Resources has spudded the Dukes Wood-1 well in deepest Nottinghamshire on licence PDEL118 in England. This means that Egdon is filling in another part of its patchwork of low risk/low cost assets. The intention is to get production up to a few hundred barrels a day initially then ramp up to 1,000 bpd and beyond in due course.

 Egdon is primarily focused on onshore development and production with some exploration in the hydrocarbon–producing basins of the UK and Europe with holdings that are smallish to medium sized. Since few of the licences or assets are likely to hold real elephant fields, the more holdings the better.
