A Busy Year Ahead For Tullow Oil As Its Latest Ghana Wells Deliver Again

Ghana continues to throw up more positive news for followers of UK-listed Tullow Oil.

The latest drilling report from the group states that production from the Hyedua-2 well in the Jubilee field will likely exceed 20,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd).

In testing, the offshore well in the Deepwater Tano licence flowed at a stable rate of 16, 750 bopd of 37 degree API, plus 21 million cubic feet per day of associated natural gas.

Tullow said that this rate should be higher, above 20,000 bopd, once the well has been configured for long-term production. <br...
