Nighthawk Energy Raises Additional Funds To Pursue Jolly Ranch Project In Colorado

AIM-quoted Nighthawk Energy signaled its intentions yesterday to actively push ahead with its US development plans raising an extra £5 million through a share placing.

The proceeds will primarily be applied to the continuing development of the company’s flagship Jolly Ranch project in Colorado, where it has enjoyed plenty of drilling success to date.

Nighthawk’s managing director, David Bramhill, said the placing had been oversubscribed, reflecting continued strong institutional support for the company, despite tough market conditions. He said the cash would help maximise production from the Colorado asset.
