Services Provided

Our integrated suite of subscription-based Information Solutions enable our clients to visualise oil and gas information from spatial (PetroView®), financial (PetroScope®) and reporting (PetroReports®) perspectives, giving them an unparalleled view of the industry. 

PetroView® is a Geographic Information System (GIS), which allows spatial analysis of the upstream oil and gas industry. PetroView is an essential tool for exploration, new ventures and business planning. The output of analysis can be easily incorporated into reports and presentations. The system is fast and easy to use, carrying detailed information on exploration, appraisal and development wells, licence areas and partner interests, field developments and infrastructure.

PetroScope® is a discounted cash-flow modelling framework, which can be supplied with fiscal models for over 80 regimes worldwide. Developed in Microsoft Excel, PetroScope offers a robust framework, complete calculation transparency and an intuitive user-interface. The fiscal terms are thoroughly researched from legislation and model contracts allowing the after-tax economics of a project to be analysed. This architecture delivers powerful and intuitive features regardless of the tax regime, giving the user a consistent and familiar interface.

PetroReports® are a set of comprehensive upstream reports focusing on oil and gas activity at country, company and asset levels. Reports are published on a weekly, monthly or bi-annual basis. Concentrating on different facets of the industry, the reports are organised in the following groups: activity, assets, regimes and benchmarking. All of the reports are delivered online, making it easy to distribute content within an organisation.

We also provide targeted, integrated Advisory Services to the upstream oil and gas sector, helping industry players to predict and adapt to the challenges of ever-changing regulatory, political, economic and technical environments.

Our on-demand support service, On-call, delivers oil and gas intelligence and links our Information Solutions with our Advisory Services, providing clients with access to our data and industry expertise.  Offered on a pay-as-you-go basis, On-call can be used for a variety of research purposes, where information is required in a specific format or on a topic not covered as standard by our products.
