Company Statement

Envoi is an independent advisory group established by Mike Lakin to assist international oil and gas industry clients facilitate the buying and selling of predominantly 'upstream' opportunities including oil and gas exploration and production projects. Mike previously spent ten years successfully specialising in this field with the Petresearch Group until leaving in 1999 to establish Envoi.
Envoi's main strength lies in its management, which has:

• A well-established international reputation. 
• An extensive international network, developed through regular contact with senior industry decision-makers. 
• An ability to 'add value' through detailed technical and commercial reviews of opportunities undertaken.

Envoi offers a range of specialist services as part of its asset trading and general oil and gas marketing expertise. These services can be summarised as follows:

• Sell Side Activities:
  Envoi’s services include its marketing or ‘sell side’ activities, using its marketing expertise to assist clients in the identification of partners for upstream assets including farmouts, appraisal/development projects or buyers for production.
• Buy Side Activities: 
  Envoi also offers a ‘buy side’ service. This is in response to clients who recognise that Envoi is well placed to act as ‘eyes and ears’ in identifying new international opportunities in the course of its thorough international networking. Envoi is available to cost-efficiently enhance a company’s own efforts to expand or refine their project portfolio by being incentivised to research and identify projects which satisfy strict client investment criteria.
• Country Promotion Services:
  Envoi’s experience and track record in marketing international projects and asset portfolios ensures its ability to assist governments and national oil companies (NOCs) to market their country’s hydrocarbon potential through initial strategy planning, implementation and coordination of global marketing from initial technical and commercial reviews to preparation of appropriate documentation, marketing with access to Envoi’s established world-wide contact network, coordinating road shows and seminars and presentation at appropriate industry conferences for specific License Rounds if appropriate.
• Corporate Presentation Services: 
  Envoi can assist companies with the clear and concise presentation of their corporate activities and projects. This is particularly relevant for public companies which regularly report to the investment community, as well as new start-ups, IPOs and fund-raisings where clear visual communication of their project potential is so essential.
• Advisory Services:
  Due to Envoi's specialist range of activities, the company is also able to offer advice to clients on many other aspects of their international portfolio management and project marketing, including:
  
  - Assistance to both investment and oil and gas company clients in strategy planning and subsequent entry into a new international ‘core area’ which then leads to the acquisition or sale of projects within a specific portfolio.
  - Assistance to identify potential new sources of capital through Envoi's contacts with the financial community and its introduction service.
  - Assisting third party clients to market their products and services
